Lately her skin didn�t fit right. Too big in places, too small in others. Twisted here and threadbare there. She smoothed and tugged and tried to make imaginary seams lay where they should. At night, under the covers, she held her skin in her fists and pleaded silently for it to be normal by morning. She tried every trick with clothes and posture and wonder lotions. Still she couldn�t work out how to shrink it or stretch it to make it hers again.
