The plans are made in whispered detail, the excuses thought through � plausible and inconspicuous. The words are written in her diary in pencil for erasure almost immediately. Barely a moment to read, to remember, to remove.

She flicks back the pages and locates the almost imperceptible indentations in the paper. She locates the pages on her body, indentations on hips and abdomen and shoulders from fiercely gripped hands. This is all that remains when next time is an open unanswered question.
